RWR No. 1 — Introducing: Rach's Wellness Rotation
Introducing RWR: What I'm Actually Into Right Now
Consider this me finally texting you back.
I spend an unreasonable amount of time researching what goes on my face, in my body, and on my countertops.
Occupational hazard of being a wellness investor who also genuinely loves this stuff.
Because I’m behind on all your weekly voice notes asking for recs — I made it a Substack.
You’re welcome, and also I’m sorry.
RWR is where I share the things I’d text you about if we were friends.
Which, of course, we are.
Sweet Chemistry Barrier Repairing Oil-Serum
There are products you use because you’re supposed to, and then there are products you actually look forward to. This is the second kind. It’s rich without being heavy, the peptide technology is genuinely impressive, and my skin just looks better since I started using it. That’s the whole review.
Flamingo Estate Adriatic Muscatel Sage Candle
I am a person who burns candles constantly and I take it seriously. This one is in heavy rotation right now: sage forward, something warm underneath that I can’t fully put into words but keeps making me reach for the matches.
If you’re not familiar, consider this your introduction. You’re welcome.
You will always find me with one of these in hand. Always. The apple flavor specifically. I don’t know what else to say. Some things just make the list every time.
Ultra Violette Preen Screen Face Mist SPF 50
I’ve been playing a lot of tennis lately and this has become non-negotiable. SPF in a mist I just spray over makeup, over nothing, mid-match…and it doesn’t leave me looking like a ghost.
A few pumps into damp hair and I’m done. Soft, shiny, smells like a California garden — which if you know me, you know is exactly what I want my hair to smell like. Simple and beautiful.
Mother Science Molecular Hero Serum
I’ll be honest: dark spots started showing up and I wasn’t thrilled about it. A friend pointed me toward this and I’ve been using it twice a day since. The active ingredient is 10x more powerful than vitamin C for dark spots. I looked into the science (occupational hazard) and it’s legit.
This is the first RWR, and I’m so glad it’s finally a thing.
More every few weeks…
I have a lot of opinions and a running list that isn’t getting any shorter🫶
So glad you’re here for it.
xx, Rach
